Episode 6: What has Matthew McConaughey ever done for us? A recap of the last 10 years in science
This time, we brought some random topics that we found interesting and worth chatting about. Chris’ first topic went out of hand quite quickly. It was a humble list of the 5 biggest discoveries of the 2010s. In no way was this objective at all of course, so we took a bit of a stand and discussed whether we agree with their significance or not. Also, we go through the discoveries and try to place them in the grand scheme of science. Trying to complete the story a bit, we added scientific discoveries of the last decade that we were missing in such a list and tried to highlight their importance.
If you as a listener were missing a gigantic discovery that we completely missed, please share it with us. You can send us a message here on the blog or on social media OR use the voice message function on the anchor app.
